The advantage over solar panel collectors is that they are not only compact, but can operate without sunshine exposure 24/7 and do not have or require a high cost direct electric backup element either.
"It makes these solar systems run at a quarter of the cost of traditional hot water systems."
Quantum's high performance design features heat transfer coils that are double wrapped around each commercial unit cylinder with a larger 1.7kw maximum demand heavy duty compressor as compared to residential systems.
Each unit's capacity is 340 litres.
Mr Thirgood said high volume hot water users such motels, sporting clubs, dairy farms and restaurants are turning to this technology in droves, whilst the Government rebates are currently at an all time high, and may be altered or reduced or eliminated in the future at the whim of government decision.
Also with the emergence of efficiency audits and the likelihood of future carbon taxes for non energy efficient business, coupled with the huge savings and massive rebates available, it is time to act and invest in curbing business overheads and as a result being more cost effective or equally competitive with your savvy competitors who have already invested in the technology.

"And as power prices rise, the savings increase."
We also employ our own solar squad plumber/electrician teams whom are proficient and normally are the cheapest cost option for installation as they can virtually do them in their sleep, they are so familiar with procedures and very cost efficient, plus we do not look to make profits from the installations which helps the customer decision process and thus drives the numbers in sell through.
